I've noticed that PS3 is going to cost you 500.00 bucks, & 600.00 with a harddrive. And games cost about 50.00 to 60.00 dollars on TOP of that. Now the XBox 360 is going to cost you about 500.00 & games on TOP OF THAT are 50.00 bucks a pop. What I was wondering is...when these systems come out, are you going to shell out that much for a GAME CONSOLE when you can invest in a computer? And don't you think that they should be cheaper Considering the FACT that GAS and the HOLIDAYS are coming up?

I am trying to share this information with a friend and I prefer secular (not religious) links with excellent documentation of their sources.

Thanks!

On the news last year people where boycotting buissenes employes's for stating, Have a Merry Christmas. So they changed it mainly because of belifes that people have. So they changed it to Happy Holidays. Now this year people boycotted again against business employes saying Happy Holidays. Which do you like better, or if you do not like either, and why?

My job (a hotel) decorates for every holiday, and I have a huge village that I want to put out on display. Most of the local shopping areas are already putting Christmas decorations out, but I didn't want to jump too far ahead. I usually don't put anything out until the month of the holiday, but in this case, I wasn't sure if I could put the village out early, and do the rest, (trees, lights, etc.) later. This is such a beautiful display, and everyone wants to see it, but I don't want to offend anyone who may think it's too early to put it on display. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

She dresses in funky clothes, is very loud and believes in ouija boards (if that helps) and she is an atheist with a really good sense of humor. She hates the color pink, and is into anthropology (not the clothing line). Little help? I really don't know what to get her!!!!!

I mean come on he spends his whole birthday whizzing around leaving presents for us (well I expect some of you have been naughty boys and girls) aren't you gonna get him something to thank him for all he's done for us.

I have seen them on sale for $45 and $70 (those are the 2 cheapest non-crappy trees). Should I buy one now or wait till after Thanksgiving? I definitely want a fake tree. I have never had a pre-lit but that’s mostly all they sell now. Thanks for the help.

I want to keep the cost minimal, since I am making around 8 of these for various people...

Ideas I already plan to include -
Homemade Apple Butter
Mugs w/ cocoa mix/tea/coffee (One of the local dollar stores had really cute mugs ^_^)
Chocolate-coated Coffee Spoons
Candy canes made to look like reindeer
Holiday Cookies/a loaf of a sweet bread such as pumpkin or banana

I am pretty handy in the kitchen, but not as gifted with sewing/knitting crafts. Any other ideas would be appreicated! Thanks!

I live in Florida last year my daughters school acknowledged Veteran's day and the kids had the day off, this year they did not. In honor of family and friends who have served my husband and I decided to keep her home.

Not to offend anyone but the schools here celebrate Columbus Day, Presidents Day, Martin Luther King Day...yet they do not ackowledge those who fought to keep this country free.

Does anyone else agree that all schools should ackowledge this day?
