Is he? Claiming to fight for the working man yet think about it. Lot of labor jobs dont exactly have areas of advancement so for the car assembler or truck driver where is their future? Especially when it comes to the american dream & retirement & health care or insurance when older & not working. If someone else wants to do a deadend job so be it especially for a lower wage that's their choice to do but that seems like it would hurt the economy & deficit more than trade. I mean look at the lay offs in Detriot. The most one would get for retirement is like a couple hundred thousand dollars which if you are young say under 45 might be ok. You might be able to learn or get a job somewhere else & hopefully invest wisely. But certainly if you are over that mark & been there 15 20 years it doesnt seem really possible to live the rest of your life on that. I mean most "experts" claim that now aday's you need to have like $3 million by retirement. $300k vs $3 million. That & taxes drain.

What happened to the 2 dollar bill; we should petition the federal reserve to get the bill back in circulation. I have never gotten change for a $2 bill before, but I think that it would be pretty damn cool. What does everybody else think. Perhaps, this is the world's biggest problem---the absence of such bills.

Who is on the 2 dollar bill?????

The Chinese have a trillion dollar surplus. I would think that with such a rich, powerful and honest nation as the U.S. that they would exceed their budget surplus manifold.

Die Welt, from Germany, got to the conclusion that Spain would overtake Germany's GDP per capita by 2011- Do you think it's true?

Germany's recent performance has been weak, though it still is Europe's largest economy. Do you think Germany will recover and still lead in Europe, or do you think Germany will still go lower than how it is?

Cd = 300 + 0.75 (Y-T)- 300r
T =100 + 0.2 Y
Id = 200 – 200r
L = 0.5Y – 500i
Y bar (ie. in long run)= 2500 ; G= 600 ; M=133,200 ; πe = 0.05 ; P bar = 120 ; i=r + πe ;
Find the short run and long run equilibrium values of Y, P , r , C, I and i.

I run a business. Which means most of the time when I am here I am working. Today alone the same yellow pages representative called me not once, or twice but THREE times trying to get me to upgrade my listing, I didnt have time to deal with her the first time.. This would not be so horrible except that the reason for the second and third call was that I didn't understand one word she said on the first call.

I understand companies are giving these phone room contracts to foreign companies for the cheap labor force but she spent nearly an hour talking to me today and the only the she accomplished was frustrating me and making my vow never to do business with them again.

People in this country are sleeping in the streets and children are starving because these cheap, stingy, multi-billion dollar conglamerants do not want to pay a decent wage. Is anyone else as angry about this as I am. I have decided I just will not try to communicate with them anymore.

We all know the Fed is a privately owned bank that sells the US it's own money with interest when congress could actually print it's own money free of interest. So why would we pay a big bank for money we can make on our own with legitimate back-up?

If a really rich guy - like Bill Gates for example, were to burn all his paper money - $50 Billion US dollars - would it harm the country?

I mean, I know that he can spend it or splurge it on extravagance or donate it or use it for R&D or for capital goods or to hire more workers or to increase efficiency etc etc. But instead if he just burnt the money - would the country suffer ? the economy suffer? what would suffer?
