I need some help. I dont know how they came up with these numbers.
This site is very similar to my problem.
http://www.calculus-help.com/probs1999/2problem12.html

Just the top portion with the graph, and the solution under it.
How did they come up with these numbers in the solution
x = .8, 3.4, 4.4, and 6.2.
Can someone look at this and explain to me how they come up with their answers.

Suppose that an amount P_o(little case o) is invested in a savings account in which the interest is compounded continuously. The balance P(t) grows at the rate given by dP/dt=0.07P, where t is in years.

a. Write the function that models this situation. (Use function notation.)

b. How long will it take to have 150% of your original investment in the account? Round to the nearest year if necessary.
c. What is the doubling time for the account? Round to the nearest year if necessary.

lost on equation, any suggestions, help

you don't have to help me on the 2 questions, just one im happy enough, the thing is i do not understand vectors much, so theres no point of getting answers without understanding, but if you can do at least one question, with your knowledge i would be grateful :) thanks!!

1.
Prove that the line x = 1 + 2t, y = -1 + 3t, z = 2 + 4t is parallel to the plane x - 2y + z = 6. What is the distance between the line and the plane?

2.

Let A, B and C be three non-parallel vectors in R3. Express A x (B x C)
in the form α*B + β*C with scalars α and β :
(i) Explain why it is clear that A x (B x C) must be a linear combination
of B and C;
(ii) Choose an orthonormal basis ijk adapted to the problem and prove it by
standard properties of the vector product.
(Note: there is a way of choosing the orthonormal basis in a way which makes
all the calculations very easy

I'm having difficulty with this, would like help, please:

Is it possible to find a function defined on an Interval I of R and values in R such that f^(-1)(x) = f'(x)? ( f^(-1) means the inverse of f, f(f^(-1)(x)) = x)?

Is it possible that I is the whole R?

Thank you
