= 3(6 - x) - x(x - 3)
= 18 - 3x - x^2 + 3x
= - x^2 + 18

Answer: - x^2 + 18

by expanding out the brackets:
3(6 - x) - x(x-3) = 18 - 3x - x^2 + 3x = - x^2+18=0

=> x^2 = 18
x = +/- sqrt 18
