I used excel to create a line graph or curve that has pressure on the x-axis and volumetric storage capacity on the y-axis. My problem is that currently my x-axis ends at a value of (or pressure) of35 and I now need to use this curve to find storage capacities at pressures ranging from 160 to 510. How would I go about finding an equation that would allow me to insert a given pressure and have it give me the storage capacity volume?

My points on the curve are: (0,0); (3,25); (4.5,41.5); (6,46); (8,600; (11.5,75.5); (14.75,85.75); (18,91.25); (21.7,101); (25.5,109.25), (29,115.5); (32,121); (35,124)

Also I do have access to a TI-89 calculator, but am not sure how to use it to do this.

please someone do tell me what is definite integral (cosx)^2dx with limits pi & 0.
this is a part of a bigger question.
i proceeded (1-(sinx)^2)dx
also integral cos x* cos x... the product rule...
yet i didn't get correct answer. please help me...
beleive me i tried it lots of times. so u wouln't be simply answering my HW but really helping me...

10 base ten is pretty arbitrary. Who's to say that's the most efficient? Why not 12? Why not 7? I'm not convinced. Anybody know what is or how to find out? I'll take anything. Please, throw out speculations. Remember: ancient civilizations like the Aztecs and Sumerians used base SIXTY! (60, 60, 24 ¦ ) It might end up being as big a number as that!

A plant breeder claims that a new variety of fruit bush he has produced gives a higher yield of fruit than the variety it will replace. A random sample of 10 bushes of the new variety is grown and the yields of the bushes recorded. The old variety has an average yeild of 5.2kg/bush. It is assummed that the yield from each bush is an independent observation from a normal distribution. Test at 5% level of significance, the breeder's claim.

What do you think the null and altenative hypothesis are? Please explain!

use substituaion to solve each sytem of equationes. If the system doe snot have exaclty one solution, state wheter it has no solution or infinite solutions.

1.2x+7y=3
x=1-4y


2. 2x+3y=1
-3x+y=15


3. x=1/2y+3
2x-y=6

4. y=3/5x
3x-5y=15
