I'm confused about this. If America broke off of England, then why is England a small country in Europe and America is a huge country in the West? Or was there an England and now there's a United Kingdom, or are they the same thing? What is the difference in England, Britian, and UK? If you're from England, are you British? Why? I need your help history majors!

One Saturday morning, Mary cycled from her home in Dublin to Maynooth, and then cycled home along the same route that afternoon. The distance from her home to Maynooth is exactly 10 miles and she cycled at a constant speed of 10 miles per hour in both directions. On Sunday, she decided to make the same cycling trip. However, due to a westerly wind, she cycled at a constant speed of 5 miles per hour when going from Dublin to Maynooth, and at a speed of 15 miles per hour on the return trip from Maynooth to Dublin.

How much longer, in minutes, did the trip take on Sunday?

Which of these Surrey towns has the prettiest village-like atmosphere:

Dorking
Leatherhead
Oxshott
Epsom
Esher
Walton-on-Thames
Godalming
Guildford
Woking
Weybridge
Camberley
Frimley
Fleet
Farnborough
Aldershot
Farnham

Which of these places conjures up images of a pretty leafy village with a real High St. lined with quaint shops and local businesses, all set in a very picturesque landscape.

Thanks for your imput. I'm looking to do a painting of such a place and I'm looking for the perfect model. I'll consider any towns in Berkshire that might match this description too, but I'd rather stick to Surrey if at all possible. Thanks again!
