Greetings, natural scientists,

I am looking for a mechanism with which lower tropospheric temperature may be controlled.

I am not looking for CO2 offsets. An example of what I'm looking for is tropospheric aerosols, which are most responsible for reflecting sunlight back into space. Or, airplane contrails, which have a net cooling effect when present at night.

I have degrees in computer science and economics, and an answer that slants in those directions would be most appreciated. For example, I'd be interested in how aerosol production (burning biomass, car exhausts, etc) could be increased or decreased to heat or cool surface temperatures. Suggestions for computer simulations also appreciated.

This is for an elective metereology class thesis. My background in the natural sciences is limited.

Thank-you,

Robert

If the earths core cools and freezes, the earth would lose its magnetic field and we would go the way of mars. Is this likely to happen??

The book written by Mr. Bruce bolt says we should keep away from beaches if we sense earthquake. Tsunami may strike long after the shaking is stopped. I know the concept of Richter scale the long time of shaking of small amplitude also from large earthquake. Since I kept my quake alarm on unsecured wooden show case in first floor the amplification factor helped me to sense the feeble waves. That day was full moon day. The possibilities of raising the water will me more on that day in sea. I issued the warning like this “I have sensed very big earthquake which I have not heard in the history of earthquake. The sea water may rise to a great height. Therefore advice the people to be alert to move to a safer place in case of emergency." Don’t mistake that this instrument will give fore warning of earthquake or Tsunami. But this will sense all the earthquake waves from all the direction at all the angle when the force increases the set perfect limit by inbuilt calibration mechanism.
