Physcial Science Help!?
Please help me on the following. I already did it, but I want to check. Just predict the chemical reaction as an equation.

1.) Magnesium Bromide + Chlorine (Anionic Single Replacement)

2.) Aluminum + Iron (III) Oxide (Cationic Single Replacement)

3.) Silver Nitrate + Zinc Chloride (Double Replacement)

4.) Hydrogen Peroxide (Decomposition)

5.) Zinc + Hydrochloric Acid (Cationic Single Replacement)

6.) Sulfuric Acid + Sodium Hydroxide (Double Replacement)

7.) Sodium Hydrogen (Synthesis)

8.) Acetic Acid + Copper (Cationic Single Replacement)

I know these might take a while, but I need help. I think I did some wrong.

1. involves reduction, which is a loss of electrons.

2. converts chemical energy to electrical energy

3. converts electrical energy to chemical energy

4. involves electrolysis reactions which always produce a gas at at least one electrode.

5. involves oxidation, which is a gain of electrons.

Another question::
A copper wire dipped in a solution containing Ag(CN)2^- ions acquires a silver coating because:

1. Ag+ oxidizes Cu to Cu^2+ in a spontaneous process until silver metal completely covers the Cu.

2. Cu^2+ is stronger ox agent tahn Ag^+

3. H^+ reduced by Cu to H2, & Ag^+ ions are reduced by H2 to metallic silver.

4. Ag is a stronger reducing agent than Cu.

I have:
hydrogen .5atm
iodine 1atm
hydrogen iodide 5.2 atm
in a 1 Liter container at 273 degrees K

I need to find the equilibrium constant:
in order to do that..i have to find the number of moles of each gas, but i'm not sure how to do that...using PV=nrT on each gas doesnt seem to give the right answer because 1 liter is my COMBINED volume ..not the volume of each gas...HELP!

How do i find the moles of each gas so that i can plug it into the formula for the constant?

The question is:
How many molecules of N2(g) remain in an ultra high vacuum chamber of 3.45 m^3 (cube) volume when the pressure is reduced to 6.67 * 10^-7 Pascals at 25 degrees celsius?

Book says 5.59 x 10^14 moles of N2.
I got something a lot smaller. Something to like
X*10^-8

Can anyone please help?

Here are the 3 elements: Sodium, Fluorine, and Vanadium.
For Vanadium I wrote 'As it's a D block element it holds 5 orbitals in it's sub-level, and can hold a maximum of 10 on each one'

Ma teacher doesnt understand where im gettin this from.. any help?
Give me info. on sub-levels, S,P + D blocks.. and anything else that's appropriate for this question.

I need to know why mass % or weight % is more commonly used on commercial products than is molarity?

Not really sure why at all, other than maybe people don't remember what the heck molarity is.

Anyway, and chemistry-related answers would really be appreciated. Thanks! (+10 for best answer)
