Because since air is made up of basically nitrogen and oxygen chemically combined, and water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen, why isn't a molecule of air heavier because hydrogen weighs a lot less and the total atomic mass of the elements of each one put together would mean air weighs more. I do not understand why it weighs less. Please help.

purification of LDH was done from beef heart extract. my result were consistent with my classmates from the salting out part till the dialysis. but after i get my fractions from chromatography my LDH yield was much lesser than expected. wat could be the reason causing this? i need every possible reason to troubleshoot. thanks for helping.

For Biology I was asked to list 10 different bonding combinations including carbon. I'm supposed to list the bonding combinations name and chemical formula as well. I don't need you to come up with all 10 of the combinations or tell me the name and chemical formula if you don't feel like it, I just need some ideas. My answer:
0.15 mols CuCl2 / 2.525 L
