For my chemistry project I need to make the perfect candle; basically, i'm being graded on several factors: It has to burn for a long time, it should have a shape that prevents it from dripping, it should smell nice, have a good appearance, and also give off a good amount of light. Any tips on making such a candle? Remember, it has to burn long while giving off a good amount of light also.

why solubility at 20 degree goes down but boiling point goes up
CH3-OH
CH3-CH2-OH
CH3-CH2-CH2-OH
I think they have the same kinda bonding like hydrogen bond , different is the bonding on the middle
i think the third molecule have more bonds therefore they need more energy to break the bond that implies boiling point goes up but im not sure my answer

Hydrogen cyanide (boiling temp 26C) is an important chemical for the production of nylon and various transparent plastics. It is produced on an industrial scale by the oxidation of methane in the presence of ammonia. The equation below is an unbalanced form of the chemical reaction to produce hydrogen cyanide.
I have to write a balanced equation and the steps to balance it. I have to assume that the reaction occurs at a temp above 100C

CH4 + NH3 + O2 = HCN + H2O
