In a test tube where the Biuret's reagent solution is present, it appears as though the reagent bonds with yeast cells that are also present in the test tube. I am asking this question because I want to directly (through scientific experimentation) determine if the cell membrane of yeast cells contains protein (for a biology class). Does Biuret's solution bond with protein molecules?
