1. Macro and Micro evolution is the same only a different amount of time, if you claim one exists, you say the other exists as well.
2. FYI Man from Ape is Micro evolution (we are the same species = primates)
3. No links between man and ape? DNA proves it, Neandertal man, Lucy, Homo floresiensis, the 'Hobbit', Kenyan skull OL 45500,Homo sapiens idaltu ,OH 65, a new fossil from Olduvai Gorge ,Transitional skull D2700 from Dmanisi ,Sahelanthropus tchadensis, and more
......So how is it coming along trying to find proof for that invisible God in the sky?...lol

Starting from the mRNA encoding, describe where the protein is synthesized, the mechanism of assembly and modification from the newly synthesized protein to the mature protein and the route that the newly synthesized protein travels from the site of synthesis to its ultimate secretion from the cell. (the specific protein is a dimer of two polypeptides held together with a disulfide bond. it is also glycosylated.)

I have a problem in how I can go about determining the before and after concentrations or amounts of bacteria. The goal is to determine whether a certain brand of mouthwash or certain method of rinsing is better. I will swab the inside of my mouth and transfer the sample onto a petri dish and gel to allow growth. After some time of growth, I will subject the bacteria growth to the mouthwash. How can I go about determining or measuring how much bacteria I had before and after adminstering the mouthwash? I don't necessarily need a count, but a % reduction would work as well. Any suggestions on a method I could use, some type of equipment, or even any modification I could use in my approach to accomplish the task of comparing before and after?

What I need the most is an explanation of the things that make them different.

Thanks.

We just did a lab in biology on chromatography. We used a collard green plant.

The band of colors I got were

1. Dark Green
2. Yellow Green
3. Bright Greem
4. Faint Yellow
5. Bright Yellow

I'm pretty sure bands 1 and 2 are chlorophyll a and chlorphyll b respectively, but I'm not sure what bands 3-5 are. They are supposed to be xanthrophyll and carotenoids, but there is no orange to be found. I thought that was the color these bands were supposed to be... So what are bands 3-5?

And from least to greatest which bands would be the longest? I found a chromatography picture on the internet http://regentsprep.org/Regents/biology/units/homeostasis/chromatography.jpg, and it has chlorophyll a longer than b, but my results were vice versa. Thanks in advance for your help.

oh, and do you think the reason I didn't have orange band colors is because I used collard greens and for some reason they may have less carotenoids then other plants?
