I've tried it every now and then for about 2 years.
I relax, concentrate, try to disconnect myself from my body...
AND NOTHING!!

The most noticeable thing I have accomplished is reducing my heart rate and respiration, and feeling my arms and legs rise a little...
but even THAT isn't close to achieving it!

...or is it?

I work in a hospital and have worked in other healthcare institutuions. Tonight some co-workers and I were discussing things we've witnessed (apparations, objects in rooms rearranging, sounds, doors opening and closing ...)

Tonight both a patient and a hospital staff person reported seeing a "large black man in a hospital gown" standing in different doorways. No such patient is on that floor tonight.

Last week I saw a lady with long, dark hair wearing a hospital gown who was looking into the hallway ... half her body was through a closed door. Another place I worked I often saw a figure pass by a window leading to the front door; when I would go to open the door, there would be no one there.

What are your experiences?

I was told I have psychic hands. Does that mean anything to anyone because I'm not sure what that means. Also, how can you tell the difference of being very intuitive vs. people in general being predictable. I always seem to know what and why people are doing what they are doing in response to situations. I know I "think" or analyze things to death. Also I have a young teen that swears she repeatedly hears someone calling her name when no one is there and it frightens her a bit. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I had a miscarriage back in March 2006. I take many pictures of my four children and no "orbs" showed up in the ones before my miscarriage. Now after I lost my baby, and when I take photo's of my children, one "orb" can be found in the pictures at times. Can this be the baby I lost? Or is my house haunted by another soul? I moved into this house two years ago and ever since moving in, I feel as if someone is here even when I am here by myself. A fear comes over me a lot. And since moving in, my husband and I get irritated at one another more than ever. Our four kids fight with one another more than ever. There are many who say "orbs" are just dust particles or water vapors. I do not dismiss the fact that there may be spirits living amoung us, yet I also do not dismiss the scientific facts either. Can anyone please explain this "orb" that shows up in my photo's at times and also why I feel the way I do while I am alone here at the house. Smart asses need not reply....thanks, Kimmie

i personaly never seen one, though my brother, my aunt, uncle and cousains have. and im sure that many people has also seen it. if its not reall, what is it? because my uncle and aunt says that they keep seeing it every day. and i now thay are not lying.
but if its real, why cant every one see it?

For some unknown reason i didnt ask her to marry me, she got sick of waiting and has walked out the door. This has devastated me, she seems very strong about her decision of not coming back. I would marry her tomorrow if she gave me the chance and ive told her that. She said if i asked her 3 months ago she would have said yes. Ive tried everything to get her back. Am i wasting my time or have i still got a chance of rekindling a happy relationship with her. I'm not willing to just give up on her because she is special. She felt like i put $$$ and work ahead of her. She loved me sooo much and it wasnt that long ago!!!! At the moment im giving her space, we havent spoken in a week!

This is for my psychological thriller, (this is the essential part to make it psychological), when I have this master serial art thief have the power to have women bend to his will, like getting into their thoughts and dreams through their subconscious, to have sex with him or fall in love with him, etc. If there's a term for this, what's it called and how is it defined. I've looked it up at wikipedia. But it said it has to do with the raising of dead spirits. From what you told me, it sounds different. Is there any way to beat it or break the spell? For my story, I have my main character eject the image before it goes too far, and to block it out of her mind, like mind over matter. (I'm asking this in Religion too.)

I dreamt that I was walking through a swim facility and saw a man in the water and two other people in shark suits (fluffy oversized disney type) swimming towards him. For some reason, I put on a pink shark suit and jumped in after them. The head of the suit was too heavy and I sank to the bottom. I didn't panic but laid there and looked around for a minute and saw all these "dead" stuffed animals. I managed to unzip the suit and floated to the top...this is all I remember. Weird?!

I don't like lying to people I had to do this assignment where I meditate for 15 minutes every night and record my experience.
The thing is, now I am supposed to write a paper about my experience and I don't know what to do because some really freaky things happened while I was meditating! I slipped very deep into a dissociative state on two of the nights that I meditated and had almost a "religious" experience. I don't know what 2 write if I don't write the truth but I am afraid my teacher will think I am a weirdo and that I am making this up!The one night I did it with my eyes open and I saw a sparkly patch on some clothes and then my body appeared to vanish and I felt as if I was a hologram. A few nights later I felt disconnected from my body and completely euphoric; it was as if I was being transported somewhere and that somebody wanted to show me something. I used to meditate with my dad when I was a kid, so maybe this was a factor.
Anyways,what should I say?What would you do?

So lets say someone arm is cut off and bleeds to death...will the person be armless as a ghost in the after life? Is there such thing as headless ghosts?
