What and when were the best and happiest times in India in the last seventy years?

The joy of the independance of India was marred by the tragedy of partition.
I think the release of INA soldiers Sehgal, Dhillon, Shahnawaz released the joy of victory, and impending independance along with a sense of pride in Subhash Bose.
Celeberating Subhash Bose's birthday on January 23, 1947 in Anarkali, Lahore was the happiest time in my life, and represents the very short window of victory, joy and happiness in the tragedy-laden history of India since independance on 15th August 1947.

Lebanon-Israel: What happened to the “Strongest” army in the Middle East?

Why did they retreat like scared pigs out of Lebanon?? Five weeks of blind killings and they were not even able to strike down what they called “a week militia”??? Thousands of innocent civilians are homeless because of an army of criminals in Israel? A cowardly gang of idiots?
