Lean business practices, first developed by Toyota, are being adopted by many US companies today. Have you heard of it, or has the company you work for been through a Lean transformation? If so, how long did it take and how is it going?

I just graduated with my degree in English and minor in photography at a top-tier college in Minnesota. I'm having a hard time finding work that pays at least $10/hr with benefits, which seems reasonable to expect with a degree and student loans coming! Does anyone know of any good places to work with current vacancies that pay at least this for someone with my background? (Though it doesn't have to be related to English [writing, reading, secretarial, etc.] or photography, so long as I don't need a degree in something else, like nursing.) I am interested in the Duluth and as much as two hours South of Duluth area.

the size would be 6ft. wide, 8ft. high, 8ft. long.......they are very large wooden crates used to ship items overseas, the inside of the crates are lined with water proof paper..............thanks!!!

I work for a large hotel on the ocean in Alabama. We have boats we let guests use Free of Charge, if they sign a waiver of no liability if something should happen. They get hurt or drown.

In the waiver, the word "rental" is used 3-4 times. We do not accept anything for the use of the boats. they are free. Does this make the contract or waiver invalid and void?
