In Florida, you have to take a certified copy of the marriage license to the DL office. They don't keep it; just need to see it. It costs $10 here; check with your own state DL office.
Note: don't take a Xerox copy of the marriage certificate.. It has to be a certified copy, or they won't do the change. I think most states are now requiring certified documents for DLs and ID cards.

Go to the DMV fill out the same form you filled out when you got your original license and there should be a section for name changes. Then present your marriage license.

Go to the social security office with this form filled out (http://www.socialsecurity.gov/online/ss-5.pdf). They will change your name and issue you a new social security card. Then take that card to the drivers license bureau and have them reissue you a drivers license with your new name on it. That's the proper way to do it. BUT you can just take your marriage license down there and have them reissue it to you.

Visit your local DMV to change it (or they may be able to handle it from their website.) Make sure you take a copy of your marriage license as proof!
