Board Games

I would like a miniature chess computer that one can play, for example, while lying in bed. It must be small, but the size of the screen on a cellphone would be too small. The minimum size, I imagine, would be about 2" x 2". Can one get chess computers that small? What other options are there? I would welcome any suggestions.

I remember playing this game when I was little, and have been trying to think of the name of it, and I cant recall or find it.

Its a board game that came with a video tape. The object of the game was to get all your chores and then to collect makeup hair, nails, etc pieces to get ready for the party by six o clock. The video tape was playing the whole time, with different people calling in with more things you had to do. Anyone know what this is or remember this game?

The dice are in a doghouse and have dog bones on them. What do they mean? The checkers are dog bowls. I tried to search under the manufacturer, M.J. Moran Company, but couldn't find anything. Kept coming up with the Dog House game that is a frontier type game.

I'm looking to buy a board game for when there is family round at Christmas, (but preferably one that can also be played by just 2 people for when we don't have family round.) We already have Monopoly and Cluedo. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you. :)

I have been playing Yahoo Chess for several weeks now. As of yesterday, I went to play and it now states Divinci Code chess. I don't like this because I really have a difficult time with the pieces and the way they look. I don't want to go to the standard chess because I like the way the new chess is minus the pieces. Is there anyway I can get back to playing the new chess without the divince code board as that is the only difference as of yesterday. Please HELP!!!

I was extremely popular in rural East Texas when I was a kid, but I think it is not as popular as it once was. One reason it was so popular in that area was that many people thought that "cards" were sinful, but not dominoes!

Now, the boards have "The DaVinci Code" on them, and the pieces look weird. The reason I chose Yahoo! to play chess was because it had a good, organized system and basic looks for its pieces. Now that the pieces are different, I'm not playing. Even if i were to get used to the pieces, these looks would throw me off, or in some way i wouldn't be able to comprehend positions like I would be able to with normal pieces. Is this permanent?
