That's utterly impossible. By rule, a King cannot walk into a check.
So, it is impossible even to get the two Kings close together, let alone one capturing the another.

Not to mention, even other pieces cannot eat a King - it is illegal.
If a player makes a move that expose his King to a check, it is an illegal move- and the opponent must warn the player and ask him to retract the move.

Got it?

No. If, for example, the Black King moves to check the White King then the Black King is putting itself in checkmate since the White King has the next move and could then move to capture the Black King. Making a move that puts your King in checkmate is illegal in chess and so it is not possible for one King to eat the other King.

It's not forbidden. However, given how the king moves (1 space at a time), it would be impossible to get your king into a position to threaten your opponent's without putting yourself into check. I have played games a couple times where I ended up using my king to block an opponent's line of retreat, which is about the closest you'd come.

Of course. It'll be pretty dumb not to notice a king right next to you though. A peron can say check with a king but the king will eat that king.

Impossible since a rule of chess is that a KING cannot move into check, how could one ever get close enough to another one for either one of them to get ..... "ate"!? - Herb

No, but you could use your king to threaten a space, preventing the other king from moving into that space.

No it is impossible. You would have to move into check a move before taking the opponents king, which is not allowed!

It cannot. To do that, the king would have to put itself in check by the opposing king, which is illegal.
