In Starfarers of Catan, when I roll a 4, for example, can all my ships move 4, or is the 4 shared between all?

From the rules:

The speed applies to all the player's spaceships on the gameboard; that means that he can move each of his spaceships - within the restrictions of the Flight Rules as many space points as the previously determined speed allows.

So all of them may move. Not shared.

We love Settlers and just bought the Starfarers game. The little pieces on the plastic ships break really super easy so be careful when snapping the pieces onto them.
Super Glue fixes them back up though.
