For true gamers... Those that enjoy a good mental challenge when gaming. No roll-and-move only types (so no Monopoly or Sorry). No trivia based games (memorization and regurgitation of trivia is not a game). (Based on this "Backstreet Boys Around the World" wouldn't qualify.)

Games that you play for social interaction AND to challenge your mind. Games that reward you for playing well rather than playing lucky. Games that involve planning, strategy, cunning, and observation rather than knowing the name Ross' monkey or how to convey the word "dry." Games that interact with other players ("I bid 24 for Lite Metal" or "wood for sheep?") rather than wait for other players ("your turn" or "move already"). Games that include tough choices rather than rely solely on tough dice rolls. Games that make you think outside the box rather than be a box.

my 11 year old son invented his own board game for kids. does anyone know who to contact or how to see if his game would be of interest to any game companies without giving away his idea? He keeps asking me all the time to sell his idea, but I don't know where to inquire.

this is a word game similar to the point scoring in scrabble and the object is to come up with the longest words beginning with the letter you land on. There is other stuff too.

The advertisement box takes up the entire top portion of the screen not only is it aggravating but you are no longer allowed to view conversation between players. Please do not suggest making the game box smaller that is not the answer I am looking for - - the pieces become way too small. I just want to remove the advertisement box completely or minimize it for better viewing of a full game that includes conversation...

i am going to be killing his pawn, which will put myself in check. the only thing that is guarding his pawn is his rook, which is also defending his king from my castle. am i allowed to kill his pawn? if i do so can he kill my king and win.
