New at this job ( doing activities for assisted living) the more help that I can get the better. what they lile to do and what games they like to play. places that they like to go to.

Have you asked the residents? Make a simple survey and pass it out to them. They would probably appreciate the fact that someone bothered to ask them. Good Luck!

At my grandpa's center they play bean bag baseball and have fun with it.. They toss a bean bag at a target with holes for different hits and have chairs at each base. It they like that, they may also like a little of that old bean bag tic tac toe..

Cultural Events seem really popular.. the arts, the museum, the aquarium, the zoo, etc etc. Just make sure they have a tram or powered chairs to help them get around easy.

Weekend trips to Canada for meds is still really popular too :P

Basically what everyone else says-

-going to the park
-bingo (can't go wrong with that one)
-sculpting with clay
-any kind of game that would have been around when the residents were younger

If you're looking for inexpensive activities you could try the park, Bingo, card playing in general, easy arts and crafts, swimming, craft shows, etc.
