when i click the icon to start the game it plays but the visuals dont play but i can here sound and press buttons i can also see mouse any help on how to fix it?

Ok I suck at video games, and have officially gotten as far as i can on my own, and I need some cheats.
The problem is, When I enter the Cheats they dont work for some of them.
the problems are with:
Perfect Rail: balancegalore
Full Stats: allthebest
Perfect Manual: frontandback

Am I using the wrong codes, or am I doing it wrong? When I enter them and hit "done" the scratch noise goes off like it is the wrong code, and then when I check in the game the codes arent there.

If you have the right codes, or know how to help I would appreciate it! :)

Hi, I have a question about a Sims 2 game that I got off Ebay. Unfortunately, when I got it the game was the Thailand version, which I was unaware of until after I had bid on and purchased the game. The game is unplayable because the whole thing is in Thai and I cannot understand a thing! I cannot get through the installation. So i was wondering if there is any type of cd that would convert it into English or any thing to do during installation?

My daughter is playing this and can't find the CD case. We know we're supposed to use the magno-glass, but from what I can tell it doesn't do anything other than look at what you can already see without it, so we must be doing something wrong with it... And from other Yahoo Answers I see we're supposed to find Oliver first, but he isn't at school in the AV room or on the bench near the school doors, OR in the mall at the back of the music store--in fact we can't find him anywhere. Help--we're already completely stuck and we're only in level one...
