Hello;
I just bought a PS3 that was purchased from Best Buy on launch day. Meaning I have 3 days left of a return period. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I intend to play maybe 1-2 hours max a day on it and maybe actually use it more for movies. Here are my questions:
1) What common problems/issues should I look for that would make me need to return the ps3?
1) Sony has a 1-yr warranty on the ps3, I hear they are horrible and should get a third party plan...true?
2) I can still buy the best buy service/replacement plan. Around $60-100 for 2 (maybe 4) years. Is it worth it, or should i just treat it as another gimmick to get more money from me.
3) The other option was IF anything went wrong, taking the ps3 to costco. I hear they are very lenient with their returns, even if you don't have a receipt (for store credit/exchanges)...True?
