First, ask yourself, do I really need it? Am I already happy enough already? See if you already have much of what you need and want.

If you are convinced so, then try to find a solid excuse. Weak ones like "I want it" and "Everyone else has one" probably won't work. However, try to say "it's for my graduation", or give another reason for her to reward-mind you, reward-you, not just give it for no reason.
