A husband and his wife had a bitter quarrel on the day of their 40th wedding anniversary. The husband yells, "When you die, I'm getting you a headstone that reads: "Here Lies My Wife - COLD As Ever." "Yeah," she replies, "When you die, I'm getting you a headstone reads: "Here Lies My Husband - STIFF At Last."

I've already planned the expensive stuff... caviar, crab, artichoke & mushroom goodies but now I need some tasty "fillers " to extend the menu. I know you have 'em & they've been in your family for years, right? Bring 'em on!!! Thanx!

Please understand that I'm as cheap as they come. My friends and I have already started talking about actually making our own wine for this. There will only be about 4-10 people present, and we would prefer to spend nothing. I will be spending nearly all my money actually getting there via plane, and if you have any ideas on cheap snacks and/or alcohol (we'd really prefer to not mess with balloon wine again!) we could really use your help!

For my 18th birthday, I thought it would be fun to take a cooking class with some of my friends. So far, I haven't been successful in finding any good classes. Where would I go to find such a class? Preferably, it needs to be hands-on, with eating involved! I live in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley of Northern California.
