Mmm...I would scratch the pasta because that competes too much with the pizza. And they are both heavy. I would definitely go for the salad. That way you can get some veggies into your party. Get some baby carrots, celery, and ranch dressing. Set it up first, before you order the pizza (or make them) so people can munch on these healthy treats before the REAL calorie intake begins. :) HAVE FUN!

a pizza party is a pizza party. if you had that stuff it would be a pizza pasta salads and veggie dishes party. is it for kids or adults? kids probably wouldnt be too interested in salads and veggies at a pizza party. adults probably would be.

I just saw Pee Wee Herman make a "salad bar" on Pee Wee's Playhouse. Its actually a great idea! Get a bunch of different dressings, veggies, lettuce, bacon bits, seeds, etc; and let people make their own salads. I'd stick with non-bread sides too ... that way more pizza can be eaten! Dark chocolate and coffee for desert - yum.

An antipasti or Greek salad would add some diversity to the otherwise boring side salad. Veggie plate is good. Dessert should be lite, like fruit and cheese plate.

Do have a variety of pizzas, salads, any kind of wings, a vegetable platter. Lemonade, a good party punch, etc.
