I dated my girlfriend for a year and a half. She was 20 and I was 27 (I know, my first mistake). Despite our age differences, we were very much in love (or so I thought). In late September, she wanted to “take a break”. Not being an idiot, I knew “take a break” is girl talk for “I want to meet other guys.” So I told her if that’s what she wants, we’re done. Her family told her she was crazy to leave me (I’m 7 years older than her and HER family thought we should be together. That’s how well I treated her). She didn’t want to lose me, so we didn’t break up. For the following weeks, we had problems and I eventually broke up with her in late December because she was acting like we were “on a break” (for example, giving guys her number, not telling guys she meets that she had a boyfriend and such). A few weeks after our official break up, she texts me to tell me she miss me and if I’ve meet anyone else. I told her no, because being in love with her, I couldn’t possibly even think about dating someone else. She didn’t think the same way. She told me that she meet a guy “a couple of weeks ago and they just hit it off”. I did the math and that meant she meet the guy a few days after we officially broke up and then started dating him.

My problem: Does this mean she had met the guy (hooked up with him?) when we were still in our “break“ period and then she decided to go to girlfriend status with this guy? Also, if you date a guy for a year and a half, is it really that easy to go right into another relationship with someone else? Two months later and I still can’t stop thinking about her and she jumped into a relationship WHILE telling me she thinks about me every day! Is the guy a rebound, doing it to make me jealous, or is she actually happy to be with him? The way I look at it, if you’re in love with someone as much as she said she was in love with me, how can you move on days after the last time you saw that person? I’m just second guessing our relationship and whether she really did care for me at one point. Because her actions now say she never cared for me.

I am sixteen, and my boyfriend and I have been together for seven months now. We have been getting very serious, but I am so comfortable with him. im starting to think they are...i think men are probably more romantic than we give them credit for...ladies just often demand too much and expect too much and dont allow them the space to be the romantic fellows they are...in their own way....

so put you money where your mouth is...are men or women the more romantic sex???...prove it...have fun...;0)

My ex and I broke up 9 months ago, after dating 4 years. He said that I didn't trust him, and he "couldn't handle it" anymore. This caught me completely off guard because we didn't have an argument or anything. Thats the last time I talked to him. We have the same mutual friends, so I know he didn't meet someone else, and hasn't since. But he hasn't called or emailed since, and I just need some closure. He never said "good-bye" or anything, it was just over. Why doesn't he miss me because I miss him like crazy!!!

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay i really really really like this one boy i have 4/6 classes with him. we talk frequently in classes and sit next to eachother in most of the classes.too. he always is smiling at me and i will look up and he ll be staring at me kinda smiling and then he ll look down quickly or pretend he was staring somewhere else. he smiles at me a lot~! he talks with me alot too and he asks me for advice a lot, we are in 7th grade. so i dont know if he likes me or not but i really feel that he could be my 1st boyfriend i feel it in my heart that we are meant to be!!! please help me! I just recently ended a relationship with my ex. A couple days latter I realized I made a mistake. But before I could get back together with her again, she started getting friendly with my roommate. I told both of them that I was uncomfortable with them seeing each other in hopes that they might not start "officially" dating.

Both of them told me that they were going to do what they wanted without any regard for my feelings. They started dating, and I almost ended my life (ya, stupid huh?).

I really did love this girl and the odd thing was she said that she loved me and hoped that we could have another shot for the future. In the process of all of this, I said some really terrible things to her and told her that I just wanted her out of my life.

The weird thing is that even after all of this, a piece of me still loves her. Would I be an idiot to try and work things out with her or should I just end it right now?

Theres this guy and he acts like he only likes me and does the same to my friend we both hooked up with him and since it wasn't committment we are both okay with it but I'm not as easy as her so he likes her more. We are going to see him this weekend.

He is using "ericyera60" and is possing looking for a romantic relationship. He is IM on a daily basis for over 5 weeks, then comes the comment, "I need Money". I know better though it is unfortunate but there are others who would after speaking with him for weeks would be so totally engulfed that they would send him the money. He gave me International phone #'s which he answered but when it came down to me saying no, his attitude changed. He is on Google and I want every woman to beware. He is classic and a very good manipulator. Do not fall for him please and for god sakes, do not send him money.
