Singles & Dating - 7 September 2006

I got a problem. I find myself fancying a lot of young ladies. I met one I really like at my new job, met one I worked with at an old job, even fall for a few at shops in town and even online. I have no doubt I'm desperate for a relationship but I need to stop falling for every girl I see because I can't afford any type of bias or partiality in what I do. Anyone got any suggestions on what to do?

For male & female prospectives:

I myself don't understand why a woman would need flowers, candy, cards and things of that nature to be told 'I Love You'. I think just hanging out, making each other laugh and doing the important things for me or with me counts more than all of those things put together. I don't get it ... why is that females think the way that they do?

"What did you do?" the other nuns asked.

Ok, been working on a really shy girl for a while. I'm taking her to homecoming. We flirt alot. There alot more to the story, but limited space. Enjoy..

The last two days have been like the BEST days on my progress with her. We were flirting alot (I guess?) eye contact, smiling..everything. I was very happy about all of it, so I decided to see if she wanted to do anything Friday night.

So I asked her what shes doing, and she already had plans (I knew this), but she invited me to go do what she was doing. I said idk I'll see. TODAY, shes acting quite different. Shes a bit more quiet, not a whole lot of eye contact, and I never caught her looking over at me during lunch. I'm probably just overthinking this all. Soooo?

Ok I hooked up with this girl, it was only a hook up. We were flirting like crazy and I gave her a back massage but I think I crossed the line when I kissed her neck, she didn't respond badly at all to it but im worried that is way too much for just a hook up. We made out of course but is it all in my head? So my question is, girls would it be wrong if a hook up you had kissed your neck?

Everytime I pick up my brother from school, there's this 12-year old boy who always says my name. And says I'm fine. He even blew my hair. And he always stops me, to ask dumb questions. I broke up with my boyfriend recently and i am miserable. he is away for work three weeks out of every month and we fight whenever he's gone. i felt like he didn't care much about me and just wanted someone waiting at home for him after each trip, but when we broke up he said he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and my daughter. there is no trust on either side for no good reason and when i go out with my friends he yells at me and calls me names like "whore, bar-trash, bad mom...etc i know its his insecurities but its unacceptable. he's absent and controlling but it has been a month since the break up and i can't get over him and don't think i want to anymore... i've never felt this strongly about any man and fear i never will... we were together a year...on the other hand i am doing ok on my own and don't want to get hurt again... what to do?
