Ok, been working on a really shy girl for a while. I'm taking her to homecoming. We flirt alot. There alot more to the story, but limited space. Enjoy..
The last two days have been like the BEST days on my progress with her. We were flirting alot (I guess?) eye contact, smiling..everything. I was very happy about all of it, so I decided to see if she wanted to do anything Friday night.
So I asked her what shes doing, and she already had plans (I knew this), but she invited me to go do what she was doing. I said idk I'll see. TODAY, shes acting quite different. Shes a bit more quiet, not a whole lot of eye contact, and I never caught her looking over at me during lunch. I'm probably just overthinking this all. Soooo?

she was probably feeling a bit embarrased at having just made plans with a guy that she potentially might date, and her friends will find out for sure now that she has made plans with him. just go and have fun and time will sort it all out

could just be a bad day, or shes nervous about it. Don't worry, just be friendly and outgoing when friday night does roll around. After all its going a step above simple flirting, i've been through this before so good luck man! i hope it works out!

You are probably over-thinking.
Besides, if she really is having second thoughts about her asking you to join her on Friday night, then you will probably make things worse by over-reacting -- shy people are usually conflict-adverse. Just act cool as if nothing was bothering you and see what happens.

she might think that ur not intersted anymore b/c u said idk about going with her..... quite frankly u basically told her that u were scared 2 go out with her b/c shes going out with some1 else that night just go along u never know what will happen and u must b in high scl b/c of the homecoming thing, as am i and if i was think girl i would b embarassed b/c u turned her down in her eyes.... go up 2 her tell her that u will go with her

well what ever you do... do not just jump into conclusions ok. it doenst have to be always the worst case sencerio . it could be anything try and talk with her and or ask some of her close friends whats the matter is there anything you can do to possibly make it better
