Keep me in your thoughts and prayers...at the end of a letter...would it mean that they have ended writing to a person?
I was getting to know a person that has the same disease that I have (Type two diabetes) and he would call me "sis" and told me that I was like the sister that he never had....but, my hubby thought that because I mentioned this fella,a bit too much(only because this guy was like a "mentor" to me...) my hubby thought "hey , this guy is hitting on you!" and told me that I won't be on the net that much...and to not write him that much...(which saddens me) and I think that after I told my "pen pal" this...he pulled away! ( don't think that he liked me the way that my hubby thinks...but, what do you think? Was the guy hitting on me? I can be rather dense sometimes! This guy and I would talk about another lady that he wanted to meet..and that is why I don't think that he "liked" me like More than just a penpal...what do you think? also, guys, please give opinions too!

I want to do a degree in Public health ( prevention of disease etc) but I also like to do Social work and help people out with their problems (housing, food etc) and I like to do nursing, especially in disaster conditions etc. Is it possible to find a career that that involves all this?. I dont mind nursing as a volunteer (this part I want to do because I enjoy it, but not as a career).

Well, I started known her when we were at the age of 11, she is Malay, when we were in school, we don't talk much at first until we promote to secondary school. I haven't been seen her for nearly 2 years. She loves to smile, but she don't smile much in photos and she never show her teeth in photos either. Someday if I fix a date to meet her, I will love to take lots of photos of her and using the camcorder to video her. Do you think she will smile? Well, her teeth is pearly white & straight, like she wore braces before, but she didn't.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a year. We live about 260 miles apart. He has never really treated me well and my friends have been telling me that for awhile. Now, my family is starting to say the same thing to me too. I broke up with him. Now he is willing to change...and has started to change. He still loves me and will do anything for me. His family LOVES me. And I still care about him but don't know if I love him like I use to. I've given him many, many chances and don't know if I should give him another(b/c I feel that it's too late for him to change and to start treating me good). But, I also feel if I don't give him another chance that I'll regret it. I also don't want to disappoint my family and friends. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

My friend is always claiming she's the happiest person alive, but sometimes she claims she's "depressed" and hates her life and BRAGS that she tried to kill herself and all. Plus, she is always taking about how she hates her life? Is she trying for attention? And I think it's really serious, because she says she's trying to kill herself. What can I do to get help for her? She's taking medication, and that's not helping!!!

I like this one girl and we;ve been friends for a while. Lately we havent talked much, only online, and rarely awknowledge eachother in the school halls. I was thinking of going to the movies or to dinner with her or something to reignite the friendship and later to expand it. Im just afraid that it will be very awkward and that ill turn her off since im not very outgoing and a little geeky and she doesnt usually lead conversations. Even the idea of her getting into my car seems awkward, not cuz of the car cuz its nice, but cuz i dont know how to communicate with her especially if its one-on-one. Any ideas? i dont know where to start. I dont talk to girls often. Regular conversation starters wont work cuz we know basic things bout each other already. Maybe we need an activity or something to do together. IDK. DOnt worry by geeky i didnt mean fat or anything, Im on a swim team so im pretty lean.

I'm thinking of making some Valentine's cards for a group of girls I know. Something to sorta repay them, especially after me near-constantly hitting on them. me and my best friend have been friends since kindergarden and we always been tight and when me and my sons father got together i always included her and always made her feel comfortable . but she by a mistake got pregnant by her brothers friend and he denied even having sex with her , then when the baby was born things between them became cool and she slowly started puting me on the back burner and i'm happy they are a family in all but i been there for her through everything and it seems like she forgot all about me and she only calls me when he is at work and that is very rare . what should i do? am i being parinoid?

I have a few close friends of mine but for the past couple of years it has seemed like we don't gel anymore. Or at least I feel like I don't fit in. But a couple months ago I started hanging out with this other girl during class and we got along right away. We have a lot of the same interests and finish each others sentences (seriously!) so i've been invited to hang out with her group at lunch; i know all the other kids and some I've been friends with for years, but just not close friends. Should I start hanging out with this new friend or stick with the old ones who i just don't feel quite happy with? And what if they ask me why I left and feel betrayed? Anyone ever been in this same rut?
