Friends that you consider 'good friends' ? I have one friend that get's a little weird when it comes to calling back people. Like a power trip. I wanted to find something out about this guy we work with...that i'm interested in...she was at work late with a bunch of people including him. I called her later on that nite and she didn't return the call. I know she was home too... She knew I wanted to ask questions about him...She returned my call NEXT day.. late afternoon so I never asked my curious questions about him. Is she a friend or someone on a power trip ? This isn't the first time either...When she has info to give she makes you wait...Everyone has been in a stiuation where your waiting for a
call either for a serious situation or just something your dying to find out about. What's up with that ????

I have an internet friend from syria, we were just chatting on yahoo im! and making phone calls from time to time.
today while chat he knew that i have some finance problems, he said nothing but after a couple of hours he phoned me and told me that he has already transfered 500 dollars for me !!!
it was a big surprise and i tryed to refuse, but it is so bad to refuse such a thing between arabs !!
now tell me, should I accept this money and lose recpect to myself? or shall I refuse and lose my best friend??
it is a big deal for me !!

I want apologize for step made month ago but don't know how better by phone, send sms, ask her people to present my apologies. I want to contact with this person, but i don't know if this person wants. We did not chated for a month. I simply should not send that stupid SMSs and calling without answer.

I live in Croatia and I'm 16,I would like to make friends with people from all over the world because in Croatia there aren't much people from different countries or cultures.The main reason is to exchange opinions and to get a better picture about the current situation in the world.

I met a guy on line some months ago, and he asked to stay in touch with him. We began via e-mail and started to IM about 3 months ago. During this period of time, he's asked me a few quite personal questions, and I answered him. He's told me some things about himself but refuses to answer my questions similiar to the ones he asked me. Seems to me he wants to open me up but doesn't want to open himself up to me. To me this is unfair AND weird. This is NOT the usual way to make friends, is it? If he does NOT intend to befriend me, why does he want me to stay in touch and to answer his questions? But then why is this a one-way street? Do you think he'll eventually open up to me? Do you think he's still trying to sort me out before deciding if he wants to open up? I really hope he will open up to me because that's how I see friendship should be. Please tell me what you think of this situation and how I can help him to open up to me. Your input is greatly appreciated.
