I really dont see the connection. No, reality shows are not deemed to be intelectual viewing or there to take the place of the 'Open University' but it can still be entertaining.

I am not going to argue the pro's and con's of reality tv but, suffice to say, One can enjoy the programmes without turning into a brain dead moron.

I am an intelligent women, articulate and able to hold a converstion or debate about most issues yet I still enjoy Big Brother. Sometimes its good not to have to work at being entertained, sometimes its good just to sit....and be entertained!

And who gives anyone the right to judge anyway?

During the finale, Saaphyri got a makeover and they took out her weave that was blonde/pink and gave her a new weave that was brown. But when she was commenting on how she felt when she won the prize, her hair was back to the old weave. Did Saaphyri change her hair back after the awarding of the check or did they tape the commentary before her makeover?

It occured to me that we could have a darker show that dealt with reality.
Like have a "Great-Muffin-Hunter" going around the major cities, huntin chubby chicks who are caught in public wearing jeans that are too tight. There are more than way too many of them out there, no matter where You are.
A weekly prize could be Spa & Fitness memberships with a drill instructor or personal trainer. And - maybe at the end of the season, the muffin who was the most garish could get a package that includes a total make over with plastic surgery and liposuction.

Well, there are just too many chubby people out there, its making being an American, look bad for the rest of America that isn't portly.

Charm School Finale Summary: TIn the Charm School season finale, the final four girls compete in a game-show style Q&A to see who has learned the most throughout the season; the first girl to miss three questions will get knocked out of the competition. The catch is that each girl gets to decide who to ask their question to.
Three girls quickly form a strategy to gang up on the fourth, and agree to ask all their questions to one girl, and someone is sent packing. Now down to three ladies, the next competition brings out the heart and tears when the girls have to give speeches on what it would mean to them to win the $50,000 prize. But only two can be chosen to continue. Those two finalists spend the next day dress shopping and getting makeovers for the final ceremony where Mo will determine which girl has changed the most during her time at Charm School. Only one of them is awarded the $50,000 grand prize, but both finalists leave with gifts they did not expect.

One guy was good at playing the violoin, but why on earth was he playing a violin in his boxer shorts? Then there was the Gray Russian guy with the 2 chicks, why in the world did they let him go to Vegas, would you want your children watching that? And then there were the redneck tenors, they had skills, but they need to drop the redneck act, even if they are from the south.
