If the tatoo is not vulgar or obscene in any way then i dont think the point of the bandages is to cover it up. Alton injured his lower back during one of the challenges (I'm blanking on which one right now) I'm almost positive he just hurt his lower back and conicidencially had to have bandages which covered his tatoo

I never knew Alton had a tattoo on his lower back. If they are covering it up, then it's most like because of what the tattoo is. It could be a logo, something obscene, or Alton himself asked them to cover it up.
