Television - 30 November 2006

I was a fan of the show with Meredith and Star, and still watch and like it with Rosie. But the show seems to mostly exist to make news these days and is so self-referential (I could tell the second they aired the Danny Devito segment yesterday that it was going to be on the cover of the Post and discussed during "Hot Topics" today). What happened to the original purpose?

Becker euthanizes House and tries to make it look like natural causes. The truth is discovered when Bones performs the autopsy. Bones then dies from an enhanced form of second-hand smoke which have been prevented by the now deceased House. Angel is then forced to shoot Becker who finally flies into a homicidal rage. Everyone then goes home happy. I hate those guys.

Maybe it doesn't have a name - maybe it's been recorded just for the advert. It sounds like an electric guitar and it's the type of stuff played by Eric Clapton. It's a really haunting and beautiful piece of music. Does anyone know if it can be downloaded?

Does anyone else love this show as much as I do? It started off a bit slow in season 1, but about halfway through that season, and the entire 2nd season, I've been glued to the tube! Can't wait for more of it...and I hope it's a show that's here to stay. There's been quite a few shows on FOX that ended after season 1, never to return. I hate being left hanging like that!

You use to list the tv listings for 24 hours a day for all channels on the tv. Now all you have is the main channels and I do not watch them as they have nothing but trash on them during the day. I like to watch the speed channel, food channel and a few others during the daytime.

why FOX put repeat shows in prime time (example: two bones shows on wednesday) instead of airing new episodes for series like Vanished or Justice, that are good, with low ratings, but i´´m sure, with better ratings than a rerun of a Bones or House episodes?
It seems like a dumb move. Comments?
