I was a fan of the show with Meredith and Star, and still watch and like it with Rosie. But the show seems to mostly exist to make news these days and is so self-referential (I could tell the second they aired the Danny Devito segment yesterday that it was going to be on the cover of the Post and discussed during "Hot Topics" today). What happened to the original purpose?

We can hope, but I can't imagine it getting axed. It seems to be extremely popular, although I gave it up when Lisa Ling left, and they brought in Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I cannot stand her at all. Now a days, I just catch clips of it on youtube.com, and that's enough blabbering for me. For "professionals", they sure talk over one another an awful lot.

One can only hope that it will not be renewed. Rosie has taken over, and if they want it that way, they're losing a lot of viewers like me. It's become Rosie's View.
What is Barbara thinking? I know she brought Rosie on hoping that the hosts would win an Emmy, but I think not.

I'm so disappointed with the show now.
It's not that I don't like Rosie but it should be called the Rosie Show and Barbara is so out of touch with the real world today it's sad.
I think they should call it a day...they had a good run.

I hope not. I used to watch when Meredith and Star were on but not anymore. I think its crap what they did to Star and Rosie thinks shes funny and she's not. Babara is miss goody too shoes and thinks she's better then everyone. I HATE THAT SHOW

i'm still waiting for rosie to beat the sh*t out of that little republican blonde girl ( i forget her name) i really thought that star jones was kind of boring. i believe that they are going the direction they are in is because people are into controversy and it is nice to have the opinions of straight and lesbian women. i also miss meredith.

I doubt it......the show has sucked this year compared to last. Change is not always good for a show, and I think it did a lot of bad to this one.
