I was just wondering if someone remembered the old PBS shows from the 70s and 80s. I am inquiring mainly about the titles of the one about the Captain looking for treasure with the help of the lady. The one about the captive woman in the castles basement who has a magical machine that takes items and makes books. And the one about the captive lady in outer space made to get books for the other world children who are addicted to TV. Maybe also if you can remember the one about the King Tut archaeologist? Thank you in advance for all your help....

His name was the Banana Man. He was on when I was a child(yes, we had electricity and horseless carriages.) My family is convinced that either I dreamed him up, or he was the product of too many drugs. Can you help me?

There some ...like wiggles/sesame street....but I think Hi-5 is the best cos its more advance for kids.....learning through making music/ word play /mathematical problem solving/ shapes/ body move....

sesame street good but it teaches just basic things abd words and action..

but for wiggles i think they are more concentrate more of dancing and not to other stuff.

I have a ton, my channel as a kid was Nickelodeon and my show Was Ereka's Castle and my favorite character was Magellen the Dragon. But there are a ton of other shows I was proud to watch on Saturday morning, Heathcliff, Dennis the mennis, Tiny Toon Adventures, Muppet babies, Fragil rock serioulsly I don't know How I found the time to play out side but I did. So Go down memory lane and tell me some of the shows you watched as a Kid eating your Cinnoman Toast Crunch in the Bowl that mom never let you eat cereal in, under that blanket that was around long before you. Oh man and Guys remember the Playboy Channel and how It wouldn't come on until 5 pm. Back when Cable cared what kids watched. Oh and how can I forget ALF I had a Alf sleeping bag as a kid and A niga turtle comforter. I can go on for hours but I want you too so tell me all about it. Gummi Bears, Tale spin, Chip and Dale rescue Rangers...........

Cartoon Network- which mostly has a following of kids during the day, has a large section at night called Adult Swim. It is adult oriented cartoons. I know my kids have left the tv running on Cartoon Network and we were mortified by what we saw on there. I know many kids are watching this at night and learning WAY too much. We took out cable from their rooms after that. What do you think- is it innapropriate to have adult oriented cartoons on a cartoon channel?
