the cost of the war against marijuana from 1937-1998.
1937-1947: $220 million

1948-1963: $1.5 billion

1964-1969: $9 billion

1970-1979: $76 billion

1980-1998: $214 billion

what a waste of tax money i say. legalize it.
what do you say about the war against marijuana?

(and might i recomend all who support the war against marijuana to check out the movie "GRASS". its a documentary about america's history with marijuana. actually i think all people who have any opinion on the against marijuana should check it out, just to get more educated on the subject. just a thought...)

I once had a roommate that had an weird obsession with moth balls. She would go through an entire box in a week's time and then she would turn manic when there were none left. I asked her If there was an odor, but she said she just had a thing for mothballs and to stop psychoanalyzing her.

******SO********

Do you like the scent of mothballs?
Do you think she was weird or maybe huffing?

my son was born with an extra finger on each hand, right next to the pinky. My father had an extra finger on one hand and he had an aunt who had an extra finger, and my cousin, on my mothers side had an extra finger on one hand. Ran on both sides of my family. The doc tied them off with suture (cut the blood flow and they fell off). My son play's guitar and we joke around that he would have been one he-- of a guitar player if we had left the fingers on.

I've been thinking lately, if I haven't spent all that money on expensive assessories and gadgets; not only would I be richer (from saving), I'd probably have invested the money more towards educating myself (learing how to cook, fix cars, etc). I'd not only be richer, I'd be smarter. Hmmm.

Sure there's the "why are you still single"s and the "eat some more of my terrible casserole"s. There's even the occassional flareups of sibling rivalry. But I maintain the worst thing is the pullout sofa. Seriously. Those suck. A close second: the inflatable bed.
