personally, i find that guys who cry are much nicer and easier to talk to than others who keep their feelings locked up. i think that the stereotype has just always been like that because a man is 'supposed' as 'strong' and crying would be a sign of weakness... i don't agree though

I hate to hear people say to little boys "don't cry coz big boys don't cry". Well if that's the case "big boys" should cry because the world would be a better place if they did. I think this stereotype exists because the general feeling is that it is unmanly to cry. What rot! Its only human to have feelings and its very unnatural to hide them. Let it all out fellas, it will make you feel good.

people who are obsessed and stuck with the stereotypes are usually uneducated and ignorant. They don't realize the need to overcome the traditional rules and prejudices that ruin people's freedom and liberal lifestyle, rather they just persist those stereotypes until they die! Open their eyes and the narrow mind.

no issue here!
and i think guys who have an issue with crying have a whole other different issue..crying is a natural way to release stress and nobody should think crying is not okay!

I don't. I like sensitive guys. And often seeing a guy cry makes me more sad. Unless they're crying because they got caught doing something bad.

I cry all the time! At the lil' things....lying next to my wife in bed...gazing into her eyes and thinking about how lucky I am....watching my children play & thinking about how fast they're growing up...and disney movies...they get me everytime. I may be a sissy....but my wife loves me just as I am. And gosh darn it....just thinking about it...is......I need a tissue....

As a person who has cried before in public, I don't have a problem with it. It's emotion. Better than an ulcer any ole day.
