Hi herpegonasyphilaid,

I agree then have some strong opinions on the issue also:
I personally do as I like no matter what people think, if I get busted I'll pay the fines but in NO way am I going to my home state & get a marijunana tax certificate to pay my states taxes on pot cause it's illegal.
The government of the United States of America is BS anyway.
The people of the good old USA are standing up for themselves & others letting our congressmen/congresswomen
know that we want marijunana legalized for all kinda reasons. Some states have already adopted medical marijuana even though the United States Federal government-(DEA) & Bush say it's illegal. It should be to each their own period. Stay informed, do your part, write the congress people that we elected let them know where you stand on this issue . Have a good AM. :0)
Additional Details: for all the trolls go find something else do it besides give a thumbs down- ( I suggest you read Norml that way maybe you'll learn something new today). Cheech & Chong are great movies to watch especially after you got your buzz on!!

Marijuana is stable and it is going to likely be criminal. as long as people don't get severe in the past they bypass to college or artwork then there must be easily no injury to society. If it keeps to be a entertainment activity there is not any injury to marijuana in any admire.

The war on Pot is a total waste of the tax payers pocket. The recent costs of the drug war is staggering. Most of the cost is going towards arresting, jailing, court costs, prison, of the average American caught with Marijuana including the Feds going after medical marijuana dispensers and cancer patients using Marijuana to ease chronic pain. The drug war has been losing for a long time now. It's time to stop prosecuting users of Pot like they were criminals. Put the money where it belongs going after hard drugs and other problems with crimes of society. Everyone should support MPP. http://www.mpp.org/

Good idea, but why stop there?
Let's do away with the war against drunk drivers, the war against poverty and why not also the war against cancer?
They all cost money and all they do is save lives.
But, wait a minute, drunk drivers kill and maim people -
Poverty causes hunger, living in hovels, etc -
And cancer takes years to kill people who suffer in agony while they are dying -
And all pot does is put potheads in a pleasant daze -
Hmmmm, I recall when I was driving home on a beautiful summer day a few years ago, the car in front of me was driving at an acceptible rate of speed heading for a mild curve and I was horrified when that car went straight as an arrow into that curve and into a very sturdy tall oak tree just over the curve's curb -
Yucks, really mangled the car.
I used my cell phone to call 911 and while waiting for help to arrive went over to the wreck to see what condition the man was in and if I could help - yucks - really mangled the driver! Skewered by his driving wheel shaft as if he was bayoneted.
On the seat next to him was an top-opened bag of pot.
Hmmmm, is that as bad as an empty bottle of whiskey?
Heck no, pot ain't bad, all it does is make you feel good like does a fuzzy teddy bear, you know, fuzzy vision, fuzzy mind, fuzzy reactions, fuzzy trip with the grim reaper.
The worst thing is, pot-head drivers don't always kill only their stupid selves like that dum-dum did.
Quite often they take innocent people with them into the finality of death.
So, let's eliminate all laws that protect people from danger caused by themselves or other people.
Do you also want to make it legal to put old people 'to sleep' to save them the misery of a prolonged death?
Come on, you must have some other brilliant ideas.

Wow! Cant believe its cost so much money!
Very interesting facts.

Not seen the film you mentioned, but I`m gunna look out for it.
I`d like to see it.

I would like to see the UK legalise it for a length of time, a trial period, see how it works out.
The goverment could (and Would) tax it, that would be okay.
It would stop lots of probs with the young people getting mixed in with the drug pushers and it would stop them getting on to anything stronger.

The goverment need to concerntrate on Heroin and the major probs we have with that soul destroying drug, that happens to affect us all.

The money could be far better spent on dealing with harder drugs and the crimes related to their use. Maybe the next President needs to inhale when he/she tries it!

I think it's a waste of money too. Marijuana never killed anyone and I don't know why they make such a big deal about it.
