that beatings should be re-instated, or just maybe bring back the old school way of raising kids. My grandfather is a very respectable man, yet now, my daughter disrespects me all the time? Did we take a wrong turn somewhere? How about the "rite fo passage" for doing your time in the military? THAT is another issue I have, comment on what you wish! Thanks in advance. Kids just don't respect their elders like they should, and it gets me so angry. Especially, since most of those "elders" have been put through MORE HECK than those kids could ever dream of!

Other than the obvious reasons, what else makes it bad? Can there be a way to make it "good"?

Has any large group stepped in to prevent the bad issues revolving around sweatshop labor, or to end it totally? How come the UN is useless? It has good ideas, but why are they unable to enforce any of their laws?

It snowed a lot here in Chicago last night and a bit of today and as I walk from public transportation to my building, I notice that everyone salts the sidewalk. I bought a nice pair of boots last year and I've noticed that the salt gets on them and as far as I'm concerned it's ruining them. I feel that every building I pass should be responsible for my boots. They are Timberlands and just because I got them on sale doesn't mean that I should have to pay for this damage. Cleaning them myself will not restore them to their natural beauty.

Do you think that asking a dollar from each building is a bit much?
