Im a waitress and it frustrates me that people dont tip. I make $2.50 an hour while people think I make minimum wage.. I depend on these people's tips. Im a really good waitress so I dont know what the problem is. How much do you usually tip if at all? Be honest..

I've been watching a bit of CNN today, and apparently people running through mall doors in the middle of the night shoving each other around and spending a hell of a lot of money is newsworthy. One clip I found particularly disturbing was an interview with a woman who described the midnight madness as a "tradition" that she shared with a family memeber. :-/ Memories to be cherished....? I'm not sure. Isn't it all just a bit overboard? I've done the commercial Christmas thing, I was raised with it, and it was empty for me. I was an only child and my mom is THE original conspicuous consumer, so it's not like I'm just watching this from the outside...What's the draw? Why do so many people go into debt every year for the holidays? Is there something I'm missing about all of this? Does the size and cost and quantity of the gifts really matter that much? If someone who understands and appreciates the commercial draw of the season could explain to me what I'm clearly missing that'd be great.

Any suggestions her would be helpful...I have a 2006 Black on black all leather interior Infinity and i love my car BUT..i want to trade her in for a Jeep or suv...Any ideas to what is out there today to trade in for??I go up to the mountains alot in the winter with the kids..they ski ..i watch..i need something to hold at least 7 people and is great on snowy mountains.I had a trail blazer but was not happy with it..Can you suggest something for me???Thanks..

I've been using Y/A for a couple of weeks now and I've noticed something that doesn't really seem right. Whenever I am voting for the unresolved questions, I always notice that the very first answer almost always has the most votes. I think that this is because most people just want the one point for voting and don't even take the time to read the answers. They just click on the first one to quickly get their point. This doesn't seem fair to me though because usually the best and most helpful and well thought out answers are more near the bottom of the answers. I was wondering if everyone would think it a good idea to penalize people who vote for the first answer all the time. Or maybe actually penalize the asker for not choosing a best answer. Let me know if anyone else has any other ideas. Thank you.

I use a variety of sites online.

On one of them, I recently tried a bit of an expiriment.

I've always hidden my friends list, on my page. Therefore, no one has ever actually known how many friends I have.

But, for one week, I set my friends list and friend count back to display.

Normally, I get approximately 100 to 150 pages of messages per day. But in the week that I put my friends on display, I received approximately 180 to 230 pages.

I don't think it's a coincidence; I think the two correspond. But I'm curious: Why would being able to see how many friends I have, make someone more eager to get to know me?

Shouldn't they be more concerned with ME, than with my friends?

I don't know all that much about him. But I hear he breaks into your house and does whatever he wants. I am not very strong and I don't think my servants are very strong. At least not Anthony. I am afraid of a man climbing down into my fireplace and yelling something wierd like Ho Ho Ho.
