Are you kidding me? OMG i love Fruitcake, i love it i love it.
But the again, i'am a bit of a Fruitcake myself.

YUCK! That's all I have to say about that! lol
We have a traveling fruit cake in my family. Years ago - before my Nana passed away - she gave my parents a fruit cake for Christmas even though my Dad had always hated it. She was starting to have dementia and gave some pretty silly gifts which we got a kick out of. Anyhow ... we assumed my Dad had thrown that fruit cake out when ~ low and behold ~ my brother received it as a gift the next year.
To this day someone else gets the "fruit cake" every year all wrapped nicely like a new gift. We never know who will get it ~ it's up to the receiver from the year prior. Each year the person who gets it signs their name on the box and dates it. It's a silly tradition, but as family members pass away we figure it will be a great memory of times past spent with those we love. We have the signatures there to remind us.
