I'm thinking about applying for a waitress position at the diner by my house? I know they make good money but I don't know if I would be good for the job, I'm pretty quiet and shy but I'm nice; I don't know if I'm social enough to be a waitress.

when you leave a job?

The packer/shipper here just told me to day is her last day. I'm astounded that she's not giving me any notice at all. We have a good relationship and I know she's leaving for more money (which I totally understand) but I'm floored that she's not giving me any notice at all.

Do you always give notice when changing jobs? How much notice do you think is reasonable or customary?

Your phone rings? GRR!!!

A friend of mine called me this morning at 6:55AM while she was on her way to work to say "I know me and my hubby are coming over tonight and I just wanted to know if we needed to bring anything". WTF??!?!? I didn't have to wake up until 7:30!! This couldn't have freakin' WAITED?!?!? I seriously almost cussed her out for that mess.
