Ten years ago, my brother was tending bar at a little beer joint in Montgomery, Alabama. One night, Tommy Lee Jones comes strolling in wearing a purple pimp suit. My brother, trying to be extra friendly and hoping for a large tip, says "Nice suit, man..I've been thinking on getting me one just like it."

Just as these words escaped my brother's lips, a large clap of thunder resounded through the building and all the lights went out. It was several minutes before they came back on again. When they did, Tommy Lee Jones was nowhere to be found and my brothers head was resting on a broomstick. Attached to the broomstick was a note, written on cardboard with my brother's blood that read "Snap Crackle Pop. I hate copycats."

It sure has been hard on my seven nephews without their dad around the last 15 years.

It was a dark and stormy night. I think it was aTuesday, but I can't be sure. I know they have chicken wings at Manny's on Monday's, and I don't remember puking them up in the bushes, so I'm pretty sure it was Tuesday.
Anyway, I was hungry, so I went to the 24 hour grocery store. I went to the meat counter. Trying to look inconspicuous, I stuffed fourteen sausage links in my pants.
As I exited the store, a large woman with unwashed hair approached me. Her name tag said "Marge". She was smiling, and had salsa stuck to her shirt collar. She said "Give me the sausage".
I was frozen with fear. The door was only 6 feet to my right, Marge was 3 feet to my left. She was fat, but she looked quick........
