Yes, I have boycotted cleaning (of course i still make the beds everyday, clean the kitchen and mop up spills) so I have a house keeper come once a week. After 15 yrs. the "joy" of cleaning has throughly worn off and I just decided I am not doing it any more!

We did ONCE but that's cause we were having a baby shower that weekend & had waaay too much else to do on top of the cleaning. Not doing it again though, can't afford $500 a pop & they didn't even do that well of a job either....basically just vaccuumed around stuff, quickly wiped things down & that's it. Ugh. Other than that, normally we all pitch in & clean it ourselves. I do the basement since that's where I live (it's a finished one), do my own laundry & occasionally help with dishes. I'll be moving out soon though & in with a roommate but I'll clean my part of course.

My boyfriend will try to help every once in a while, but usually sits down after one chore. I do have a friend who loves to clean and helps me clean up when she comes over after our boyfriends leave the place dumped in beer cans.

You know, I used to think I really wanted some help around my place, and then I got a room mate and she started doing all the cleaning and I found it really annoyed me because she didn't do it how I wanted it done, so since she moved out, I haven't had any help and I am MUCH happier!

I wish. Professionally, no. Husband helps some when he can. Eldest daughters do laundry at times. Each daughter has done bathroom when I insist. Youngest daughter does dishes (when I ask). So, for the most part --- no I do it all.

We used to have a maid lady that came every Tuesdays and Thursdays...to mop and clean and stuff, then she stole some of our bath towels so my parents fired her....lol...so no, My mother and I are responsible for all the cleaning around here.

My wife does the cleaning, I do the staying out of the way.

my kids clean there own rooms and do the dishes every night...... my husband helps on the weekends.... everything else I do myself
