ive always thought that my girlfriend and i suppost to have a incommen goal to reach. like raising kids etc.. we'r like partners in this life. we entertaint each other. share happy moments. sad moments. someone whos always be there for you. but lately i got told that i dont know how to be a boyfriend

I came to the US almost 5 years ago and by now, I thought my accent was completely gone...that is, until some guy asked my where I was from because there was something about the way I spoke. Since then, I've been trying to speak perfectly. Most people say I don't have an accent, but some say that I do but it's barely noticeable. But I still want to get rid of it as soon as possible even though I still can't tell whether I have one or not. And sometimes I feel like I'm unimportant, or like some people see me as "the foreigner" instead of as myself. In fact, I know they do, and I hate it...a lot.

So, do you like accents? I hate them, especially since I appear to have one, acording to 'some' people.

Okay - I just got here and I've noticed a big difference in the quality of the questions from my usual night haunt. The questions durring the day seem like they're just brainless and pointless while those posted at night are still pointless they're decidedly more clever. What are your thoughts?
