ive always thought that my girlfriend and i suppost to have a incommen goal to reach. like raising kids etc.. we'r like partners in this life. we entertaint each other. share happy moments. sad moments. someone whos always be there for you. but lately i got told that i dont know how to be a boyfriend

There is no right or wrong way to be a boyfriend.Maybe you should ask your girlfriend to be more specific in what she thinks you should change.
