I prefer:
-TEXAS: It's home, and it's way cooler than any other state! The people are the friendliest, and we can fly our flag the same height as the U.S. flag! How cool are we?!
-Mississippi: laid-back, genuine Southern hospitality, boiled peanuts
-Georgia: the mountains, beaches, and boiled peanuts...again
-Tennessee: a lot to do in such a small state, great history and music heritage, true hospitality.
-N. Carolina. The most beautiful mountains east of the Rockies, the Outer Banks, Piedmont, etc.
Do not prefer:
-Kentucky, by far! Rude, sour, impolite people everywhere I've been in that state (cities and towns alike,) plus most of it is literally dirty and littered (from Central City in the west to Louisville to London in the southeast.)
-Florida: same reasons as Kentucky, plus the dumpy old tourist traps and high taxes.
-Arkansas: Arkan-what? What would it be without Northwest Arkansas?
