I would agree, they both are great, but because of my generation I would say Al Green, I grew up hearing more of him than Lou Rawls.

I have always loved Al Green. I have Al Green's Cd called the absolute best and I listen to it a lot.

I'm gonna have to take Al Green. But My all-time favorite is Otis Redding. He was on the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack and they even used one of his songs in the movie Pretty in Pink, starring Molly Ringwald.
