Don't you hate it when people gripe because you didnt answer your cell when they do the exact same thing?

Question

Hubby gripes at me if I don't get to my phone when he calls. My son runs off with it, I usually have to hunt for it. But I always call him right back. But when I call him, he NEVER answers and hardly EVER calls me back. Doesn't that just irritate you to death? I mean whats the point of a cell phone if you are not going to use it?

it wouldn't matter if it was a landline, he still wouldn't answer it and there are a thing called cordless phones, they get lost in my house too, esp with a 2 year old.

OMG YES!!! Mine does the same thing. I am busy with the children and I cant just stop giving them a bath or making the dinner to pick up the phone but when I have a free hand I will call him back.

yeah I totally agree... I think its a man thing - my bf is exactly the same, if I dont answer he calls and calls and calls, and then when I do get there he's like where WERE you! but if I call him and he doesnt answer he acts like I'm over reacting when I say where WERE you!!!

ps are you also south african cos I dont hear others calling it cell phone, its usually mobiles :)

I agree! I dont answer my cell in the middle of traffic or if Im in the middle of a conversation with someone. Some people can thandle that! jees!

Thats why wires come out of the walls with a real phone attached to it.

Users should not become slaves of their mobile phones...Just remember how we survived without them in the past...try sms with your hubby - then both of you can answer when it best suits them.
